Kids at play — A Hollywood based Creative Studio that Develops and Produces television, digital, film, and commercial content.
Situation:
Developing a show called “MeTime With Frangela” hosted by comedy duo of Francis Callier and Angela V Shelton, collectively known as Frangela.
Analysis:
Kids at Play wanted to know how their audience compared to other daytime talk shows such as Ellen, Wendy Williams, The View, The Real, The Talk, etc.
“This will help us with determining topics/stories to cover, as well as with our own social media campaign.
We also need general knowledge about our audience, what news sources they pay attention to, what brands our audiences pay attention to etc.
We want to see the crossover with FRANGELA’S socials and the different news stations socials in markets where the show is airing, so we can identify shared demo, interests, etc. will help us appeal to the audiences in each market”
Results:
The insights provided gave Kids at Play ideas around topics to be discussed on the show, potential brands for product placement and sponsorship opportunities.
Also, the affinity data is used to market the show online and learn what news sources would be good for press, to bring awareness about the show.
